Majstrovstvá Európy v slam poetry Košice 2024

Na majstrovstvách Európy v Košiciach sa predstavia slameri z 32 krajín a súťažiť budú o titul majstra Európy, 1000 € a možnosť vystúpiť na majstrovstvách sveta v Mexiku. Majstrovstvá Európy budú mať tri hlavné eventy.

Semifinále a finále budú dostupné aj online pre publikum mimo Košíc. Texty budú preložené do angličtiny a slovenčiny a to v spolupráci s vydavateľstvom FACE a Jánom Gavurom.

Tabačka Kulturfabrik — Best of Slovenský showcase s českými hosťami

Best of Slovenský showcase s českými hosťami kde sa predstavia tí najlepší slovenskí slameri a slamerky zo širokého spektra komunít a miest. Event bude mať anglické titulky a je primárne určený pre medzinárodné publikum.

13. 12. — piatok

Kasárne kulturpark — Semifinále

Semifinále, kde sa bude v dvoch kolách rozhodovať o desiatke najlepších európskych slamerov, ktorá postúpi do finále. Večer bude mať anglické i slovenské titulky.

14. 12. — sobota

Tabačka Kulturfabrik — Finále Majstrovstiev Európy

Finále Majstrovstiev Európy kde sa desať najlepších slamerov stretne v súťaži o titul. Večer bude mať anglické i slovenské titulky.

O hodnotenie sa postará zmiešaná porota v ktorej traja členovia budú náhodne vybraní z publika a traja členovia sú vybraní z odborných kruhov.

Významný český prekladateľ a propagátor slam poetry. Slamové semináre viedol aj na Olomouckej Univerzite. Bol garantom niekoľkých grantov pre Slam Poetry SK a Slam Poetry CZ.
Lenka Šafránová

Mgr. Lenka Šafránová, Phd

Vysokoškolská pedagogička, poetka a autorka pre deti, ktorá pôsobila na UNIPO a UPJŠ. Slam poetry umiestnila taktiež do svojho semináru o súčasnej slovenskej literatúre.
Péter Molnár

Péter Molnár (HU)

Majster Maďarska v slam poetry za rok 2018 a Majster Európy v tom istom roku. Péter Molnár pôsobil na Stredoeurópskej Univerzite (CEU), je slamerom svetového formátu. Angažuje sa v literatúre a v pro-demokratickom aktivizme.

kino úsmev — diskusia

Diskusia s odbornou porotou a hlavou svetového slamu Philipom Meersmanom. Diskusia bude tlmočená do slovenčiny.
13. 12. — piatok

okrúhly stôl

Okrúhly stôl organizátorov a umelcov z celej Európy s košickými a slovenskými kultúrnymi organizáciami.

European Slam Poetry Championship Košice 2024

Slam poets from 32 countries will compete for the title of European champion, 1000 Euros and the opportunity to perform at the World Championships in Mexico. The European Championships will have three main events.

Tabačka Kulturfabrik—Best of Slovak showcase with Czech guests

Best of Slovak showcase with Czech guests featuring the best Slovak slamers from a wide range of communities and cities. The event will have English subtitles and is primarily intended for an international audience. The evening will be hosted by Tomáš Straka.

Kasárne kulturpark— Semifinals

Semi-finals, where the top ten European slamers will be decided in two rounds to advance to the finals. The evening will have both English and Slovak subtitles.

Tabačka Kulturfabrik—The final of the European Championship

The final of the European Championship where the ten best slammers will meet in the competition for the title. The evening will have English and Slovak subtitles.

Expert Jury

The evaluation will be done by a mixed jury in which three members will be randomly selected from the audience and three members are selected from professional circles.

Robert Bob Hýsek (CZ)

Prominent Czech translator and promoter of slam poetry. He also conducted slam seminars at the University of Olomouc. He has been a guarantor of several grants for Slam Poetry SK and Slam Poetry CZ.
Lenka Šafránová

Mgr. Lenka Šafránová, Phd

University teacher, poet and children's author who worked at UNIPO and UPJŠ. She has also placed Slam Poetry in her seminar on contemporary Slovak literature.
Péter Molnár

Péter Molnár (HU)

Hungarian slam poetry champion in 2018 and European champion in the same year. Péter Molnár worked at the Central European University (CEU), he is a world-class slam poet. He is involved in literature and pro-democracy activism.

A discussion with an expert jury and the head of the world slam, Philip Meersman. The discussion will be translated into Slovak.
13th of dec—friday

kino úsmev—round table

A round table of organizers and artists from all over Europe with Kosice and Slovak cultural organizations.

Silvia Hroncová took over the patronage of the event.
